1. Using this website and our content
This website is provided for information, enquiries and service coordination. All text, images, layouts and other material on the site belong to LED-Lightbox Rental or are used with permission, and may not be copied, altered or reused for another purpose without written consent.
The site content is written for weddings, parties, launches and corporate events in Midrand, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Sandton, Centurion, Durban and surrounding areas. It is intended to describe hire options, delivery, venue set-up, collection and related logistics in a practical way.
- Please avoid any use of our site that could harm it, interrupt its operation or place excessive load on it.
- Do not copy product descriptions, images or layouts for resale or publication.
- Use of our site for illegal, deceptive or harmful conduct is prohibited.
2. Enquiries, booking requests and quotation details
When you send details through our enquiry channel, you confirm the information you give is true and correct to the best of your knowledge. That includes event date, venue area, access conditions, item count, indoor or outdoor placement and any note that may affect delivery or set-up.
Our quotation reflects the details you submit when you enquire. If the scope changes, for example a larger install, extra items or a late-night collection, the hire arrangement may need to be revised before it is accepted.
- Dates are only reserved once the required booking steps are completed.
- Venue rules, access limits and power point locations may affect the hire plan.
- Special handling, out-of-town logistics and after-hours collection must be agreed in advance.
3. Hire conditions for lightboxes, letters and signs
All hired items remain the property of LED-Lightbox Rental or the party acting on its behalf. The customer is responsible for proper care of the hired items from delivery until collection. Items must be used in line with the agreed purpose and placed where the installation team has approved the position.
Illuminated items normally need safe cabling, a suitable power point and space for clear placement. The venue must allow reasonable access for delivery and collection, and any municipal or venue rules must be followed where they apply. Outdoor use may need extra protection from wind, damp ground or rough surfaces.
- Do not move, alter or dismantle installed items without approval.
- Do not cover lights, cables or plug points in a way that creates a hazard.
- Do not overload circuits or use unsafe adapters supplied by others.
4. Delivery, set-up and collection on event day
Delivery, venue set-up, safe cable routing, photo area layouts, multi-item installs and collection are arranged as part of the hire service where agreed. The site covers Midrand, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Sandton, Centurion, Durban and other areas where logistics can be arranged. Access times, loading points and venue contact details should be supplied with care.
Where set-up is required, the venue or client representative must be available to direct access, confirm the intended position and point out any restrictions. If the vehicle cannot reach the loading area, or if access is delayed by venue controls, the install plan may need to be adjusted and added costs may apply.
- Clear access paths help protect equipment and reduce handling risk.
- Collection depends on venue access and the agreed finish time.
- Late night collection must be arranged before the event date.
5. Payments, cancellations and changes
Any booking is subject to the payment terms stated on the quotation or invoice. The business may ask for a deposit, balance payment or confirmation before work is scheduled. Where a booking is changed or cancelled, costs already incurred for transport, labour, preparation or reserved stock may still be charged.
If weather, venue access or event timing changes affect the installation, the parties should review the plan before the hire proceeds. A request to add items, remove items or change the location can alter the quotation and the delivery schedule.
- Quoted prices apply only to the agreed specification.
- Additional labour or out-of-town travel may be charged separately.
- Refunds and credits, if any, are governed by the booking terms issued for the event.
6. Liability, safety and legal controls
LED-Lightbox Rental exercises reasonable care in handling, delivery and installation, but it is not liable for loss, damage or delay brought about by incorrect information, venue limits, unsafe third-party arrangements, weather exposure or misuse after handover. Your rights under South African law stay in place where the law does not allow them to be excluded.
The customer must make sure the venue is suitable for the agreed placement and that any required approvals are in place. If the event involves a public space, a managed venue or shared access area, the customer remains responsible for permissions unless the booking states otherwise.
The operator of this website and service is Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, acting for LED-Lightbox Rental. These terms may be updated when the service, legal position or booking process changes, and the version posted on the site will apply from the date of publication.
